This video shows some photographs from 10 rolls of 35mm film that I shot during a week in Key West, Florida, USA in January, 2010. (I'm still trying to figure out how to live there!) The original music behind this video is "Cinnamon Sunshine," an up-beat worldbeat song about finding "perfect love," by my Las Vegas-based pop rock music band Poppermost from our self-titled first album. This song was one of two, written by Tammy Jo Smith, that she recorded in the then state-of-the-art digital 48-track Creation Audio recording studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1988. We were in the big room at Creation. The unknown (at the time) Paula Abdul was across the hall in a smaller room, working on her first album. I took the photographs used in this video at a number of our recording sessions. Tammy's band at the time, Sweetwater, was a popular country rock, bar and wedding cover band in the western Wisconsin and southeastern Minnesota area in the late '80s. I played bass and also ran sound and lights (from stage) for Sweetwater for about 2 years. |

Intrigue WhiteoutVid 4 of 5 from my full Star Wars Day (May the Fourth...) post at https://www.facebook.com/rendahl/posts/10157938124263018 Last stop was the Wynn Las Vegas hotel for Cocktail City Vegas' Pre-Cinco Party at Intrigue Vegas nightclub with free entry and 2 free El Tesoro Tequila (or vodka from one bartender) cocktail drinks. In the Cocktail City line, I ran into dancing friend, Debbie Does Vegas nightclub party starter. Later, inside the packed nightclub, I caught their massive CO2 blast again - making a dance floor whiteout with San Francisco-based DJ JAUZ.
