Music is a big part of the Florida Keys culture, and not just beach music. Jimmy Buffet's trop rock is "The Keys Music," but there are many other genres of music being written, recorded, and performed by many varied singers, songwriters, and musicians in the Keys. WestAdrienne - Adrienne Zolondick is a studio singer, songwriter, vocal arranger, engineer, and producer who loves to perform. Based in Key West. 2/12 Black & Skabuddah - Laura Black and Russ Scavelli's sound has been described as acoustic driven classic rock with an edge. Their repertoire consists of '60s and '70s classic rock and some of their original music. Based in key West. 2/12 Caribe of Key West - "The Southernmost Salsa Band." We play music for people from all over the world. Come to our island and enjoy the music we play for an international crowd. Rock to reggae, jazz to funk, waltz to wedding, and of course salsa. Based in Key West. 11/12 Scott Kirby - As a singer songwriter, Scott Kirby tours extensively around the country appearing at festivals, clubs, and theatres, performing his brand of coastal inspired folk rock, sometimes referred to as “beach folk.” Based in Key West. 2/12 Larry & Christine - Larry Smith and Christine Cordone have been entertaining together since 1978 when they met as recording artists on the Columbia Record Label. The popularity of their many reincarnations made them in high demand in all aspects of music -- Larry as a bandleader, sideman, songwriter, producer, arranger, educator, and recording artist -- and Christine as a bandleader, singer/guitarist, songwriter, and background vocalist. Based in Marathon. 2/10 Devinshire - A 4 artist, American rock band from Key Largo, Florida. Classic rock and roll from the '70s, '80s, and '90s. Requests taken. The band is available for weddings, private gigs, concerts, etc. Based in Key Largo. 6/12 David Feder - Hillbilly flamenco guitarist / songwriter. Based in Tavernier. 2/10 Lady A Blues Band - With her strong, earthy blues vocal style and harmonica playing, Lady A has carved a place all over Florida in the '80s and '90s, and now has returned to her beloved Keys ready for action. The band is available as a duo, trio, quartet, and for a full blues experience, 5 piece full band. She has shared billing or opened for the following: Bonnie Raitt, Rick James, War, Pine Top Perkins, Coco Montoya, and George Thorogood just to name a few. 11/15 Howard Livingston and the Mile Marker 24 - An all original tropical island band capable of supporting both small and large events. Based in Summerland Key. 3/10 Jen's Music - A regionally renowned musician-songwriter. As a young female acoustic guitar solo artist, she sings original material spanning several styles of music from rock to blues. Based in Marathon. 3/10 Keys Community Concert Band - The Band includes a range of ages from students to individuals in their 80s. The rehearsal / concert format allows musicians who are in the Keys as short-term residents to participate on a month-by-month basis. Visiting musicians are welcome to sit in on rehearsals.
